The 2004 model is an enhanced version of this popular Chicco Car Seat. Approved to EEC R44/03 for use as a Group 0+ seat, suitable for children from birth up to 13 kg. It fits into the car rear facing, using the cars lap and diagonal belts. It features increased side impact protection and head containment. The new seat stitch pattern has increased padding including: intergrated headrest cushion, side head area, backrest, seat cushion. It comes complete with headhugger, shoulder and buckle pads. Seat cover is easily removable for hand washing. An easy to use one pull harness adjustment, 3 height positions for the shoulder straps and a new adjustable sun canopy. The seat now has a handy storage compartment in the base and can be used as a rocker in the home. The Synthesis car seat also forms part of the Trio Travel Systems, with locking pins in the handle that allow it to be fitted to the Trio base stroller, or Trekking and Tech Strollers, quickly and simply without the need for a fitting kit. This allows baby to be moved from car to stroller without being disturbed and in one simple action you know that the car seat has been fitted correctly and securely onto the stroller.
